Small things, done slowly.

crmb. was built on a single idea: that a good thing, made carefully each morning, is worth more than a hundred things made at scale. Our ritual is the same every day — weigh, mix, layer, chill, finish. No shortcuts. No batches held from yesterday.

The morning bake

We begin before the city wakes. By the time your order arrives, everything has been made within the last few hours — petit gâteaux set overnight, finished at dawn; tea cakes out of the oven by 7am.

The chocolate

The chocolate in our cakes and petit gâteaux is Valrhona. The bonbons, bars and dragées use Belgian and French couverture, tempered and boxed by hand in small batches. We name what we use because it decides how things taste.

Available until finished

We make a set number each morning. When they're done, they're done. There's no second batch, no holding things over for tomorrow. This isn't scarcity for effect — it's just what it looks like when something is made properly.
